Real Madrid announce squad for La Liga match against Sevilla

Real Madrid published their squad list for Sunday’s away game against Julen Lopetegui’s Sevilla FC.

REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Areola and Altube.

Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Varane, Ramos, Nacho and Mendy.

Midfielders: Kroos, Casemiro, Valverde and James.

Attackers: Hazard, Benzema, Bale, Lucas V, Jović and Vinicius Jr.

It’s simple for Los Blancos. A win will give them the lead in La Liga table, four points clear of FC Barcelona. Still, it won’t be easy for Zidane’s men to overcome Sevilla, who have been playing quality football ever since the season started.

Zidane will be expected to start Casemiro, Kroos and James in the midfield even after the debacle in Paris. Bale, Hazard and Benzema should be enough to create some dangerous plays but they didn’t get much help from their teammates against PSG, so it will be interesting to see whether this lineup works or not. Real Madrid have a good chance to bounce back, they should not waste it.
