Real Madrid have published an injury report about French left-back Ferland Mendy, who suffers a groin injury.

Mendy will miss at least two weeks with this injury, which leaves Real Madrid without a pure left-back in the roster. It now seems that Nacho Fernandez will start in that spot when Los Blancos face Osasuna on Wednesday and Atletico de Madrid on Saturday, given that Marcelo is still out with an injury as well.
This is Mendy’s third injury since he joined the club. The French left-back has been a pleasant surprise every time he’s played this season but he’s been very unlucky. If Mendy wants to compete for a spot in the starting XI, he will have to stay healthy.
