Real Madrid host Osasuna, who have not lost a game this season, just three days ahead of a crucial Madrid Derby against Atletico de Madrid. Los Blancos are coming off a statement win in Sevilla and will be expected to take care of business tonight even though their last two home games at the Bernabeu have not been as solid as Zidane would’ve wanted.
The French coach will be without Marcelo and Mendy and that means Nacho Fernandez will have to start at the left-back spot. Nacho’s last performances with the team have not been encouraging but he should be ready enough to stop Osasuna.
Other than that, this match provides Zidane a good chance to rest some of his starters like Hazard, Kroos, Ramos or Benzema. Militao, Vinicius, Jovic and Valverde need minutes and Osasuna’s visit seems to be the perfect opportunity for them to start and prove they can contribute this season.
