Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard talked to the press in the pre match press conference ahead of Tuesday's home match against Brugge in the UEFA Champions League.
Hazard spoke with confidence but acknowledged that he hasn't performed as well as expected.
"I feel well, it's true that people expect a lot from me and so do I. I know I can improve, I'm my hardest critic but we will improve through working every day. Maybe I'm a bit behind schedule because of the injury but I'm 100% ready now and I hope to do the best in the next games," explained Hazard.
The Belgian star said he's not lacking confidence.
"It's not a matter of confidence, coach told me to go after it and I have to be the one who does better in the field, I have to make the difference," he added.
Hazard's conditioning has been questioned but the winger didn't want to discuss this matter all that much.
"I feel strong, I didn't do any individual training plan. I have to do my best and all will go well. Honestly, I feel 100% ready. As I said, I'm not injured anymore and I just have to score and be decisive. When I start scoring goals or completing good performances it will all be easier. I just need a goal or an assist to bounce back," concluded Hazard.
