The Serbian national team announced that Real Madrid attacker Luka Jovic will miss the upcoming match against Luxembourg with an undisclosed injury.

“During the match against Portugal he suffered a relapse from an injury he already had when he joined our team and after being examined by the doctors it was decided that he will not play in the match against Luxembourg,” published the Serbian national team on their official site.

Jovic entered the game in the 87th minute and yet he suffered this injury. It doesn’t appear to be serious to keep him out of the team for long, but everyone will have to wait until Real Madrid’s doctors published any kind of medical report. Serbia mentioned that Jovic was already injured but appeared to be just fine when he left Madrid.

The attacker made his first start for Real Madrid against Villarreal and completed a very solid performance. His status for the upcoming away matches in Paris, Sevilla and the Wanda Metropolitano is unknown at the moment.
