Real Madrid want to sign Malaga pearl Hugo Vallejo

The 19-year-old’s contract expires in June and could potentially be an easy pick up for Los Blancos

Remember the name, Hugo Vallejo, yet another teenager on Real Madrid’s radar. The 19-year-old, who primarily plays as a left winger, is a product of the Malaga youth system. Following in the footsteps of Brahim and Isco, both of whom worked their way through the same system, Vallejo has shined for the first team in Spain’s second division.

His contract is set to expire this coming June and because he has yet to renew, Malaga has frozen him out from the squad. According to a report in AS, Real Madrid are now looking to pounce. The plan would be to sign Hugo Vallejo in the winter market and immediately loan him out to Segunda side, Deportivo La Coruna.

Hugo Vallejo would be yet another attacking talent to bolster the club’s youth revolution and he could be obtained for pennies on the dollar. Real Madrid do not see Hugo Vallejo as a player to make an immediate impact, but one with the potential to become a first-team player in a number of years.
