Real Madrid have officially confirmed that they’ve sent Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin to Oviedo on a loan deal which will expire in the summer of 2020.
Real Madrid and Oviedo have reached an agreement for the loan deal of Andriy Lunin until the end of the 2020 season.

Lunin spent the first half of the 2019-2020 season being a reserve for Valladolid, something which doesn’t help his development as a young goalkeeper. Lunin needs minutes and Real Madrid decided to terminate the deal with Valladolid in order to find their goalkeeper a new club where he can actually play, gain experience and improve.
Oviedo are struggling in the Segunda Division and are just one point clear of the relegation zone. If Lunin is indeed set to become a starter there, he will be facing pressure to deliver and improve week after week. This loan deal could help him a lot in the future, so it will be interesting to see if he can take control of the starting spot.
