Real Madrid’s Achraf Hakimi has been performing very well during his two-year loan spell in Borussia Dortmund, so much that he has drawn interest from Bayern Munich, who sent scouts to watch the young right-back play against Augsburg this weekend, according to a report from German newspaper Bild.
Achraf’s performances should grant him a spot in Real Madrid’s roster as soon as next season, but the player has been somewhat concerned about his potential role in the Spanish capital and that could only increase the interest from other teams willing to offer him a starting job next summer.
In the end, Real Madrid will probably decide to sell Alvaro Odriozola next summer, so Achraf and Carvajal would be competing for a spot in Zidane’s starting XI. Achraf has the potential to be the winner of that battle and there should be enough minutes for both players, so coach Zinedine Zidane will likely have to talk Achraf into staying in Madrid.
