Real Madrid announce squad for Copa del Rey match against Unionistas de Salamanca

Real Madrid have published their squad list for Wednesday’s away match against Unionistas de Salamanca in the Copa del Rey Round of 32.

REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Areola and Altube.

Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo and Mendy.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Valverde, James and Isco.

Attackers: Benzema, Bale, Lucas V., Jović, Brahim and Vinicius Jr.

As expected, coach Zinedine Zidane has decided to give some rest to regular starters and veterans Kroos, Modric and Sergio Ramos, while Rodrygo will stay in Madrid as well. Odriozola didn’t make the list either as he completes his loan deal to Bayern Munich, which should be official fairly soon.

Reserves like Lucas Vazquez, Brahim, Jovic or James could get important minutes this Wednesday. Zidane needs to keep them engaged and this match offers the perfect opportunity for the reserves to shine and prove their worth.

The match will kick off at 21:00 CEST this Wednesday.
