"Un Sueño Real”: Tacón’s season currently being filmed as a docu-series

Variety has announced the production of a documentary series focused on the genesis of Real Madrid’s women’s team. It is being produced by Mexican-American studio Exile Content and Spanish media company Newtral.

The show is co-directed by Newtral’s CEO and Spanish journalist, Ana Pastor, and Alfonso Cortés-Cavanillas.

It will narrate the team’s journey since September 2019 as well as the players’ life stories. It is provisionally titled “Un Sueño Real”, which translates to “A Real Dream”. Exile’s president of content, Daniel Eilemberg talked to Variety about the show:

The culture clash between a small women’s team as it joins a world class soccer club like Real Madrid is what will make it a fascinating series. Although Spanish in nature, we think this series will resonate worldwide. It’s a good sample of what we want to create with Newtral.

No release date has been revealed yet.
