CD Tacón — EDF Logroño 2019/2020 Match Preview; Primera Iberdrola, Injuries/Suspensions, Potential XIs

Tacón are poised for revenge against a team that beat them 5-1 earlier in the season.

Kosovare Asllani against Logroño’s Grace Asantewaa

CD Tacón will face EDF Logroño tomorrow at 16:30 CET in Ciudad Real Madrid. The match will be streamed on Real Madrid TV.

Logroño stand in 7th in the league, 5 points ahead of Tacón. Las Escolares recently said farewell to Barbra Banda, one of their most lethal attackers. She and Jade Boho made a very dangerous pair up top and they will be hard to replace. But Logroño have reinforced their defense with two winter signings: Daniela Caracas and Ana Carol.

When Tacón visited Las Gaunas back in September, Logroño rolled over las Blancas, finishing with a scorline of 5-1. Thanks to the steady improvement we have seen from the team and the exit of Banda, Tacón have a much better chance to win this time around.

Samara fractured her right clavicle during the game against Sporting de Huelva; she underwent surgery earlier this week and won’t be available in the coming weeks. Malena is also unavailable for tomorrow’s game due to knee complaints. Chioma is back and there are no suspensions.

EDF Logroño should have their full squad available.

Potential XIs

CD Tacón: Valles; Suárez, Daiane, Ainoa, Peter; Chioma, Kaci, Thaisa, Jakobsson; Lorena and Asllani.

EDF Logroño: Johansen; Neném, Raquel García, Dorine, Leticia Méndez, Chini Pizarro, V. Santana, Silvia Ruiz, Carol Marín; I. Guehai and Jade Boho.
