While Real Madrid were running up the scoreline at La Romareda against Real Zaragoza tonight; in another Copa del Rey round-of-16 matchup at Anoeta, Martin Odegaard was putting on a show against Osasuna in a 3 - 1 win.
In truth, it was the Odegaard and Isak show, as the two combined for all three goals. Odegaard assisted Isak twice, while scoring directly from a free-kick for the game-winner:

Odegaard, in addition to his two assists and one goal, slung a staggering seven key passes en route to Real Sociedad’s win. And who knows — maybe Real Madrid will face Odegaard in the upcoming quarter-finals!
Yesterday, Reinier Jesus started in Brazil’s pre-Olympic qualifier against Bolivia. Brazil won the match 5 - 3. Reinier scored a goal, and also dished out a beautiful back-heel assist:
The main difference between Jovic and Benzema in one stat. They both had 16 touches tonight. Benzema came on for Jovic in the 73rd minute...— Kiyan Sobhani (@KiyanSo) January 30, 2020
Wrote about it in yesterday's column. Benzema is relentless. He has to be in every build-up sequence. In turn, not cold in front of goal.
