Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has completed his recovery from the foot injury he picked up in November. The Belgian attacker trained with his teammates this Thursday and appears to be ready to make his return to the team, although coach Zinedine Zidane will likely be cautious and keep him out when Real Madrid host Atletico de Madrid this Saturday.
Hazard will now have to recover his best form after spending two months on the sidelines so that he can be a threat in the upcoming Champions League tie against Manchester City, which will kick off on February.
His return to the team will give Zidane another scoring option to help Karim Benzema. Real Madrid have been relying too much on the French striker lately and Hazard should help in that regard considering that he was completing solid performances right before his injury.
Again, Hazard’s presence in the upcoming Madrid Derby is highly unlikely considering that he will have to improve his conditioning in order to be a valuable asset. He should be able to get some minutes in the Copa del Rey next week.
