Bayern Munich have asked Real Madrid about Achraf Hakimi's availability, according to a report from Marca. Hakimi is spending the 2019-2020 season with Borussia Dortmund on a loan deal and has completed an astonishing season so far, proving himself as one of the most exciting defensive talents in the world of football.

Real Madrid have not made a decision about Achraf's future yet, per that same report, although it would be extremely shocking to see the club and the promising defender parting ways considering that Carvajal has struggled a bit for the last year and a half while Odriozola hasn't been a reliable backup when given the chance to play relevant minutes. Achraf definitely has the skill set to compete for Carvajal for the starting job and quite possibly even earn the opportunity to feature in the starting XI on a consistent basis.

Furthermore, his ability to play as a midfielder through the right flank and even as a left back would be a very interesting asset.

Although Madrid will likely keep receiving interest for Achraf, Los Blancos should probably just bring him back while trying to sell Odriozola next summer in order to make sure that Achraf gets enough minutes.

It appears to be a fairly easy decision to make, but Achraf could be tempted to push for a transfer if he isn't guaranteed a fair shot at earning the starting job over Carvajal, so it will be interesting to monitor the situation next summer.
