The Spanish Football Federation announced that referee Jesus Gil Manzano will be in charge of Wednesday’s Spanish Supercup Semifinal between Real Madrid and Valencia, which will kick off at 20:00 CEST in Saudi Arabia. Pablo Gonzalez Fuertes will take care of the VAR in this game.

Gil Manzano is one of Spain’s best referees. He’s overseen two games for Real Madrid this season, a win against Real Sociedad and the away draw in Villarreal. He was also in charge of Valencia’s home draw against Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid will be without Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale in this game and other players like Rodrygo, Vinicius or Luka Jovic will need to step their game up if Los Blancos want to reach Sunday’s Final. This is a very fine chance for Luka Jovic to make an impact and prove that he deserves to get more minutes, something which would ultimately help Benzema’s form as well.
