Kroos and Ramos feature for the full 90 minutes

Kroos returned after his injury, playing the full 90 minutes in Germanys win against Ukraine. The midfielder picked up a yellow card, and overall put in a solid performance. It is interesting to see Kroos playing the full 90 minutes after his injury. It is of course good that he can do it, as it means he will be back firing on all cylinders after the break, but one wonders if he is fit enough. At the same time, Ramos captained and played the whole game, when Spain won over Switzerland 1-0.

Bayern tried to get Valverde

In a quite interesting twist, Bayern Munchen reportedly tried to sign Valverde this summer. According to Marca, the Bavarian club saw Valverde as the perfect star signing for the club. However, neither Real Madrid nor the player himself had any interest in even considering a possible deal, so negotiations never even started. According to the same report, Bayern also immediately backed down, as the two clubs have an excellent relationship and the club did not want to jeopardize that relationship.

Seedorf questions Hazards motivation

the ex-Real maestro questioned Eden Hazards motivation to go the extra yard needed to be one of the worlds best. In an interview with Goal.com he said that he has always thought that Hazard can be one of the world’s best, but Seedorf things it Is a question of motivation. The pressure is building around Hazard, and looks like the football-world will judge the Belgian much harsher this season.
