Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos played 90 minutes in Germany’s win against Ukraine, proving that he’s recovered from the muscle injury he picked up early this season and that should be available when Los Blancos face Cadiz this upcoming Saturday. Kroos had missed Real Madrid’s last two games against Valladolid and Levante and his presence in Germany’s starting lineup will help him improve his form and conditioning.
The German midfielder is a key player for coach Zinedine Zidane, so it’s safe to assume that he will start when Madrid take on Cadiz if he’s 100% ready to play and contribute.
All in all, it’s great seeing that Kroos only missed two games for Madrid. In the end, players like Isco, Odegaard or Fede Valverde have the quality to play in the midfield and perform well, but Madrid’s ceiling is much higher when Kroos is in control of the tempo and flow of the game.
