Hola Madridistas!

The International Break continues.
Tony Kroos made his 100th appearance for Germany. Kross played the full game, but Germany was unable to secure a win over Switzerland. The game ended 3-3.
Sergio Ramos featured in Spain’s 1-0 loss to Ukraine. Matt reported that Spain, despite dominating possession, struggled against Ukraine’s deep block. Spain is at the top of League of Nations’ Group 4, but Germany and Ukraine are just one point behind them.
Casemiro was the only Real Madrid player that featured in Brazil’s 4-2 win over Peru. This international break is over for the Brazilians and the next one is about a month away. Casemiro is very likely to selected again. It would be nice to see Rodrygo and Vinicius together in the national team as well.
Valverde featured in the Uruguay’s loss to Equador (2-4).
Covid-19 alarm at Real Madrid.
One point of concern for Real Madrid is that Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for Covid-19, after the draw between Portugal and France, which also featured Madrid duo Varane and Mendy. Both players tested negative however.
Sergio Ramos also had contact with Cristiano Ronaldo last week in the friendly between Spain and Portugal.
Will Courtois be available to face Cadiz?
Marca reported that Courtois, who had left the Belgian national team due to a muscular problem, will be available to play against Cadiz on Saturday. However, Courtois trained inside facilities yesterday.
‘Plan B’ if Kylian Mbappe move fails.
Marca have reported that Real Madrid has identified Erling Haaland if they can’t sign Kylian Mbappé next summer. The Frenchman is still the priority, but in case negotiations with PSG collapse, the club will trigger the Norwegian’s 75M release clause. Don’t count out Los Blancos going for both as well.
Real Madrid have uncovered a new teenage star from Japan.
Takuhiro Nakai, 16, is training with the first-team squad of Los Blancos having joined the club seven years ago and has earned the nickname ‘Pipi’. The teenager currently with Juvenil B is expected to be promoted to Castilla under Raul Gonzalez per a report from Marca. Keep an eye on this kid.
