Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has recovered successfully from the small muscle injury he picked up with the Belgian national team last week, one which forced him to return to the Spanish capital in the middle of the FIFA break. Therefore, Courtois will be available when Real Madrid face Cadiz this Saturday.

Courtois is a crucial player for Real Madrid after last season’s performances. He was one of the main reasons why Los Blancos had a successful defensive record and this season he has also played at a high level so far.

It will be extremely important for Madrid to rely on Courtois’ ability to stay healthy, even more so now that Andriy Lunin is his backup. Lunin does have great potential, but he has not played elite football consistently and that’s mainly why Los Blancos need an experienced keeper like Courtois between the sticks if they want to be successful this season.
