Not much has changed since yesterday. As many Real Madrid players are still on international duty, the remaining players (omitted from their national teams for one reason or another) continue to train diligently at Real Madrid City.
In today’s session, Zinedine Zidane had the team focus on ball work, pressing, and possession exercises. A lot of work was on ‘combination play’, as well as practice with regards to finishing chances. Once all that was done, Zidane moved the team into scrimmages on reduced-sized pitches. The training concluded with passing and set-piece drills.
Player updates
Mariano Diaz and Eder Militao trained both outdoors and indoors today, but on their own. Eden Hazard, Dani Carvajal, and Alvaro Odriozla trained indoors separately as they focused on their recovery.
It was the third session of the week.
