It’s only the second game of the 2020-2021 Champions League Group Stage but Real Madrid already need a win after losing to Shakhtar at home last week. Away matches will be very tough for Los Blancos during this Group Stage but Zinedine Zidane and his men will be hoping to keep the momentum going after their brilliant win at the Camp Nou last Saturday.
Eden Hazard is back with the team and could play his first minutes of the season, although he should not be expected to feature in the starting lineup after being sidelined for the last three months.
Madrid shouldn’t take this game lightly even if Gladbach are the kind of team who don’t make a lot of noise during the season. They are a competitive side, especially at home, and they managed to get a surprising 2-2 draw against Inter in Italy a week ago. If Los Blancos can play with composure and focus, they should be capable of earning the win.
