Inter Milan attacker Romelu Lukaku could miss next Tuesday’s Champions League match against Real Madrid, a crucial game for Los Blancos and their fate in the European competition, given that they will need as many wins as they can get if they want to finish the Group Stage on top of their group.

Lukaku picked up a minor thigh injury during the match against Shakhtar Donetsk and will not be available when Inter face Parma this weekend, hoping to recover in time for the clash against Madrid.

Lukaku is a crucial piece for Inter and his potential absence could be huge, given that his physicality and finishing skills could be hard to stop for Madrid’s defensive line, who have conceded many goalscoring opportunities so far this season.

Inter and Madrid were considered the favorites to come out of the Group B but neither one of them have managed to win one of their two games so far, with Inter getting two draws. That’s why next week’s match will be so important for both sides.
