Most players — bar those injured and those on international duty — trained at Real Madrid City with head coach Zinedine Zidane. Despite this being the international break, there were plenty of ‘big names’ still around: Vinicius, Marcelo, Karim Benzema, Lucas Vazquez, Isco, Nacho, and others. Several youth team players were also still around.
Eder Militao trained alone on the pitch, while Eden Hazard, Dani Carvajal, Alvaro Odriozola, and Mariano Diaz continued their recovery process behind the scenes.
In today’s training session, Zidane had the team warm-up with injury-prevention exercises. He then moved the players into ball circulation drills, as well as specialized work in long pressing and long passages of passing. After that, the team worked on two-touch football games on small fields, as well as crossing and finishing.
