Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has talked to the press, revealing his desire to be a Real Madrid player one day.
“We have all heard that things have been said. What to say? Yes, all footballers would love to play for Real Madrid. It might be a dream. It is a dream for me, why not one day? But I play for Manchester United and I love my club. I perform for Manchester United, I have fun and I want to do everything to put the club where it deserves to be,” said the French midfielder.
Pogba’s contract with United expires in 2021 but the British club have an option to extend that deal for an additional year.
The midfielder was one of Real Madrid’s targets in the past and coach Zinedine Zidane is definitely very high on him and his potential as a player.
However, that ship has probably sailed now, given that Los Blancos are reportedly focusing on signing the young Eduardo Camavinga while they also have to develop Fede Valverde and Martin Odegaard, who are young and ready to contribute consistently for Madrid.
