Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro talked to the press during the FIFA break and discussed the future and potential of both Rodrygo and Vinicius, who will be expected to lead the Brazilian national team in the future. While Rodrygo made Brazil’s squad list this break, Vinicius didn’t and stayed in Madrid. Still, Casemiro believes that Vinicius will be patient.

“Of course Vinicius wants to be with the national team, but I don’t think he’s frustrated, he’s just looking forward to keep working and improving,” said Casemiro.

When asked about Rodrygo, Casemiro said that the attacker has “immense quality.”

It’s a bit surprising seeing Rodrygo and not Vinicius in Brazil’s squad, given that the latter has been in very good form so far this season while Rodrygo only featured in one starting lineup for Los Blancos.

Both players are still very young, so it’s clear that they will definitely be crucial members of Brazil’s future going forward if they keep making progress in the next few years.
