Real Madrid resumed training today after a nice cool and collected victory against Huesca yesterday afternoon.
In today’s session at Real Madrid City, head coach Zinedine Zidane allowed his starters to work inside the facilities — giving them less vigorous work to give them a breather from Saturday’s exertion. The rest of the team trained normally outdoors, focusing on stretching, dribbling, and pass precision. Zidane then concluded the training with shooting practice. As a whole, today’s training was ‘light’, with collective focus on staying sharp in the midst of a busy schedule.
Player updates
Great news today as three players rejoined the group. Martin Odegaard, Dani Carvajal, and Nacho Fernandez were with the rest of the team for stretches — doing a combination of work outdoors as well as in the gym. Odegaard’s recovery has gone really well.
