Real Madrid are interested in the signing of Red Bull Salzsburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai, according to a report published this Friday on Spanish newspaper Diario AS. Szoboszlai is 20 years old and has been completing solid performances as an attacking midfielder ever since last season.
AC Milan, Arsenal and Red Bull Leipzig would also be interested in his signing, per that same report. Madrid probably know that it’s time to upgrade their midfield line and Szoboszlai would be an appealing target, but it won’t be easy for Los Blancos to secure his signing if they’re also interested in Eduardo Camavinga, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe as most reports suggest now.
Szoboszlai would be a somewhat affordable target, though, as AS’ report indicate that he could leave Salzsburg for around €30 million. Still, it’s unlikely that Madrid ultimately decide to go after his signing if they start negotiating for the three players mentioned above, so it will be interesting to pay attention to Madrid’s moves in the transfer market next summer.
