AC Milan are interested in Luka Jovic and could offer a loan deal for him during the winter transfer window, according to a report published on Il Corriere Dello Sport. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 39 years old and Milan know that they will probably need another striker so that the Swedish legend can stay fresh and ready for the big games, so that’s why they’re targetting Jovic.
The Serbian attacker played some solid minutes early this season and it appeared like he could be set for a more relevant role this season, but he’s not been contributing much ever since and it looks like this could be yet another wasted season for him if he stays in the Spanish capital.
If this is what Zidane has in mind for Jovic, it would make sense for Real Madrid to send him on a loan deal where he could gain some confidence and get relevant minutes. Milan have been interested in Jovic for quite some time, so perhaps it’s time for Los Blancos to let Jovic develop elsewhere.
