Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has tested negative for Covid-19 and made his return to training at Valdebebas this Wednesday, according to today’s training report published on the club’s official website.

Casemiro first tested positive on November 7th and missed the away match against Valencia, just like Eden Hazard. Militao is the other player out due to Coronavirus and so far he has not tested negative yet. Both Hazard and Militao are feeling well and isolated at home, where they’re working to stay in shape.

Casemiro’s return to the team’s starting lineup could be huge for Madrid, given that their next two games are expected to be extremely difficult. First, they’ll visit Villarreal this Saturday in what will be a very important game after the last defeat against Valencia. Then, they will head to Milan to face Inter in what’s going to be yet another crucial match in the Champions League Group Stage.
