Real Madrid have published their starting lineup for the upcoming away match against Villarreal.

Real Madrid starting XI: Courtois, Carvajal, Varane, Nacho, Mendy, Kroos, Modric, Odegaard, Vazquez, Hazard, Mariano.

Villarreal starting XI: Asenjo, Gaspar, Albiol, Torres, Pedraza, Parejo, Iborra, Trigueros, Moreno, Gomez, Bacca.

Kroos, Modric and Odegaard start in the midfield and they will get some help from Lucas Vazquez, who starts on the right wing for defensive purposes. Other than that, this is the lineup most fans expected, with Mariano getting the chance to start and lead Real’s offensive line.
