Isco’s agent —and also his father— Paco Alarcon talked to Spanish radio show El Larguero last night and confirmed the reports published on the press last week saying that the midfielder wants out of Real Madrid this winter.
“Right now we have not received offers, but he wants to try in another league,” said Alarcon when asked about the rumors.
Still, Alarcon said that staying in Real Madrid until the summer transfer window is also an option if Los Blancos don’t want to lose him in the middle of the season, which could always be problematic.
“Staying [until the summer] would not be a problem,” he added.
Isco has always been a relevant player for coach Zinedine Zidane but it’s true that his role is not as important as it was in the past, mainly because he also hasn’t been making a big impact when given the chance to play.
If a good offer comes Real Madrid’s way during the winter, expect the club to take it even if losing Isco would affect the team’s depth for the rest of the season. Isco’s current value in the market and potential teams interested in his signing are unknown at the moment.
