Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes always delivers when he’s given the chance to play in the Champions League. Rodrygo scored Madrid’s second goal against Inter —although UEFA ultimately called it an own goal from Achraf— as Los Blancos beat the Italian side and then he talked to the press after the game.
“I’m fond for this competition, I always dreamed of playing here and every time I play I seem to be lucky, I score or deliver an assist. I hope to continue like this,” said Rodrygo.
Madrid went on to beat Inter in what was a very solid performance from Los Blancos. If Zidane’s men beat Gladbach and Shakhtar they will win their Group.
“The most important thing is the fact that we kept a clean sheet, we kept the possession of the ball for the entire game and managed to defend well. We scored twice and I’m so happy for the win, we have to keep working to try to win every game,” he concluded.
Rodrygo will keep fighting for a chance to start consistently, something he’s not achieved so far this season.
