Real Madrid host Alaves trying to regain momentum and confidence in La Liga after their last two results against Valencia and Villarreal. Los Blancos completed a solid performance against Inter in the Champions League but now it’s time for them to do the same in La Liga.

Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois, Vazquez, Varane, Nacho, Mendy, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Hazard, Asensio, Mariano.

Alaves predicted XI: Pacheco, Navarro, Lejeune, Laguardia, Duarte, Mendez, Pina, Battaglia, Jota, Joselu, Perez.

Carvajal was added to the injury list this Friday after suffering a groin injury in training, meaning that coach Zinedine Zidane has yet another puzzle to solve about the right-back spot. While Militao is back for the first time since testing positive for Covid-19, it might be too early for him to start, something which would allow Nacho to play on the right side of the defensive line.

It’s more likely that Zidane chooses to start Vazquez there and then play either Asensio or Rodrygo upfront now that Casemiro seems ready to feature in the starting lineup.
