Real Madrid have published their squad list for Tuesday’s game against Shakhtar in the UEFA Champions League —18:55 CET—.

REAL MADRID SQUAD:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Altube.

Defenders: E. Militão, R. Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, F. Mendy and Chust.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Ødegaard, Isco and Arribas.

Strikers: Benzema, Asensio, Lucas V., Vini Jr., Mariano and Rodrygo.

Karim Benzema is back with the team after recovering from the muscle injury he picked up against Valencia almost a month ago. While he might not be 100% ready to feature in the starting lineup, Benzema is so important to this team that coach Zinedine Zidane will likely start him.

Other than that, Hazard is out, which means that the injury he picked up last night is somewhat serious. Vinicius should be expected to replace him on the left side of Real Madrid’s offensive line.

This is a crucial game for Real Madrid’s fate in the Group Stage.
