Real Madrid just announced on their official website that Casemiro and Eden Hazard have tested positive for Covid-19.
Real Madrid C.F. informs that our players, Casemiro and Eden Hazard, have tested positive in the COVID-19 tests undertaken yesterday, Friday, in the morning.
All of the other first-team players and coaching staff, as well as the club employees who work directly with the squad tested negative in yesterday’s tests. Meanwhile, all of them, apart from Casemiro and Hazard, once again tested negative in the antigen tests taken this morning.

Casemiro and Hazard join Militao, who tested positive a week ago. Odriozola, Carvajal and Nacho are also injured.
Real Madrid are facing Valencia this Sunday and will not be able to rely on those six players, meaning that they will have a very thin squad for what’s a must-win for them against a manageable Valencia team who have been struggling this season.
Casemiro and Hazard won’t travel to play for their countries this upcoming FIFA break and could potentially be ready for Real Madrid’s next games after the international games.
