It is match day!

As widely reported, Casemiro and Hazard won’t be available to face Valencia, since both tested positive for Covid-19. Both players will be out the next 15 days. They will only return to training after two negative results for Covid-19.

Our 20-men squad list that will face Valencia is:

Marca’s predicted line-up is: Courtois, Vazquez, Varane, Ramos, Mendy; Kroos, Modric and Valverde, Vinicius Junior, Asensio and Benzema.

Vinicius’ comments.

Vinicius was asked if the assist against Inter was intended for Benzema. The Brazilian insisted that the target of the pass was Rodrygo, noting that in training they make similar movements. When asked which players he is close to, Vinicius answered Benzema and Lucas Vazquez, saying that he talks a lot with the them off the field. He also mentioned Modric, as the Croatian usually sits with him during lunch.

Updates on the team ahead of Valencia.

Nacho and Carvajal continued their recovery. Both players began to work with the ball. Valverde has been called up by Uruguay for their games against Colombia and Brazil. According to a report from Marca, Isco knows game time will be difficult under Zidane, but isn’t seeking to leave the club.
