Real Madrid’s visit to Valencia appeared to be just a matter of taking care of business but Los Blancos announced that Eden Hazard and Casemiro have tested positive for Coronavirus this Saturday, making Madrid’s squad a very thin one ahead of the upcoming FIFA break.
Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois, Vazquez, Varane, Ramos, Mendy, Valverde, Kroos, Modric, Vinicius, Asensio, Benzema.
Valencia predicted XI: Jaume, Wass, Paulista, Guillamon, Gaya, Musah, Soler, Racic, Cheryshev, Maxi, Guedes.
Casemiro and Hazard are two undisputed starters and the midfielder doesn’t even have a pure replacement in the squad, although it seems that Fede Valverde will be the one playing deep today with Kroos and Modric as central midfielders. Odegaard has returned to the squad list and could play some minutes on the right wing, where Madrid have failed to find a consistent contributor so far this season, while Vinicius is set to replace Hazard on the left wing.
