Real Madrid’s away game against Valencia will be the last before a two-week FIFA break which starts on Monday. Los Blancos want to capitalize on Valencia’s poor form since the start to the 2020-2021 season by taking the three points, but Zidane has a depleted squad after Eden Hazard and Casemiro tested positive for Covid-19 this Saturday.

Valencia have sold the three quality midfielders they had last season. Kondogbia, Parejo and Coquelin are now gone and therefore Valencia’s mindset and targets for this season have changed. However, they will still be a tough team to beat as they always bring their A-game against Real Madrid.

Vinicius and Rodrygo looked inspiring for Los Blancos against Inter and it’s possible that they both get a chance to feature in the starting XI tonight, although Zidane could keep Asensio in the lineup. Other than that, it looks almost certain that the French coach will start Fede Valverde, Modric and Kroos in the midfield given Casemiro’s absence.
