It’s match day...yet another final!

We have some good news for this game - Carvajal and Valverde are both back with the team. The squad list for today’s game is:

The predicted line-up for AS and Marca is: Cortouis, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Mendy; Casemiro, Kross, Modric; Lucaz Vazquez (AS) / Rodrygo (Marca), Vinicius, Benzema.

Will Lucaz Vazquez renew his contract?

According to Abc Deportes, Real Madrid is in talks with Lucas Vazquez to renew his contract. As Zidane wants him to stay, his contract could be extended for two or three years. For Marca, Lucaz Vazquez is silencing the people who criticized him. With Zidane’s suport, he is performing consistently now more than ever.

Zidane’s comments.

In yesterday’s press conference, Zidane said he hasn’t lost confidence in Isco and Marcelo, even though they haven’t played much recently, but he still counts on them and that they’re training well. Regarding Marco Llorente, Zidane stated he's not surprised as he’s a high-level player, showing another side that he didn’t have when he played for Real Madrid.

Mijatovic’s comments

Former Los Blancos’ player Mijatovic comments on Modric’s recent performance, saying the player is 35 years old, but looks like he is 25. The former Madrid hero said Zidane has nine lives, as he’s been able to change the dynamics of poor results. Zidane’s trick, according to Mijatovic, is that he always defends his players, who are with him to the death.

Transfer rumors

Marca reported that David Alaba’s dream is to play for Real Madrid and the club is interested in signing him - but will wait until January. The club has a good relationship with Alaba’s agent. AS, however, reported that Madrid is following his situation, but his contract’s demands would be very high.
