Real Madrid’s home game against Atletico de Madrid could have huge implications in the race for the 2020-2021 season. Simeone’s side have a six-point lead over Real Madrid and a game at hand, so it’s crucial for Los Blancos to get the win if they truly want to compete for this Liga title.

Atletico seem to be the heavy favorites to win La Liga this season given the consistency they’ve shown so far, but Madrid should give them a run for their money and in order to do so they have to win tonight and cut their lead in the table.

Luckily enough for Real Madrid’s fanbase, the team bounced back from their recent struggles with a brilliant win over Gladbach, securing their presence in the Round of 16 and putting concerns about the team’s ability to compete aside. Atletico will surely be a tough team to beat, but Los Blancos have the tools and confidence to do so.
