Good news for Real Madrid’s coaching and medical staff. Midfielder Martin Odegaard completed Wednesday’s training session with the rest of the squad and seems ready to make his return to the list when Madrid take on Eibar next weekend.
Furthermore, Eden Hazard, Mariano Diaz and Luka Jovic all featured in a portion of today’s training session, meaning that they should rejoin the squad fairly soon as well. While these three players might not be ready to face Eibar, they’re no longer injured and their return is close.
Coach Zinedine Zidane will likely need to start managing his roster very soon, given that he hasn’t made rotations for a while. Veteran players like Modric, Ramos or Benzema will need some rest soon, and while the bench unit hasn’t been very reliable so far this season, Zidane will need to trust them sooner or later.
Madrid’s next two games —Eibar away and Granada at home— should be manageable, so it will be important for Los Blancos to recover as many players as possible for those two matches.
