Real Madrid announce squad for La Liga match against Eibar

Real Madrid have published their squad list for Sunday’s away match against Eibar, one without Hazard, Vinicius or Isco.

REAL MADRID SQUAD:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Altube.

Defenders: Carvajal, E. Militão, Sergio Ramos, R. Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola and F. Mendy.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Valverde and Ødegaard.

Forwards: Benzema, Asensio, Lucas V., Jović, Mariano and Rodrygo.

Coach Zidane is taking a cautious approach with Hazard, who just rejoined the squad in training this past Friday. It’s clear that Madrid want Hazard to be 100% fit and ready to go before he actually plays so that the risk of getting injured again is minimum.

Other than that, Zidane has a deep squad at his disposal, so he could very well decide to make some rotations in this game and also in the following one at home against Granada. Zidane himself said that Madrid’s recent lack of rotations was “temporary”, so most fans should expect him to use his bench more often now.
