Real Madrid host Granada, who have been performing well this season and are currently seventh in La Liga table. Vinicius, Isco and Hazard are back with the team and Modric will miss the game, so this game seems to be a good opportunity for Zidane to make some rotations in order to keep his players fresh, although the French coach will have to make sure that the team he deploys is ready to play and compete.
Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois, Carvajal, Nacho, Ramos, Mendy, Casemiro, Kroos, Valverde, Vinicius, Asensio, Benzema.
Granada predicted XI: Silva, Duarte, Sanchez, Vallejo, Foulquier, Herrera, Milla, Eteki, Neva, Suarez, Soldado.
Hazard will likely come off the bench in this one as he tries to improve his conditioning to avoid more injuries, so Vinicius should be back in the lineup after missing the last game with an illness. Valverde will likely be the one replacing Modric in the midfield but it’d be interesting to see what Odegaard can do in that position, so maybe Zidane gives the Norwegian talent the chance.
