Real Madrid attacker Luka Jovic has tested negative for Covid-19 and rejoined the squad in training this Thursday, meaning that he could be available when Los Blancos visit Sevilla on Saturday.

Jovic missed Madrid’s past games after the FIFA break, which was unlucky for him considering how well he performed for Serbia during those games. Furthermore, he would’ve likely got the chance to play considering that Benzema wasn’t available until last Tuesday’s match against Shakhtar Donetsk.

All things considered, Jovic should not be expected to face Sevilla. Benzema is back with the team and will almost certainly lead Madrid’s offensive line in that game as Jovic could even be left out of the squad list so that he can improve his conditioning, which would allow him to be ready to play and perform when Madrid take on Borussia Monchedgladbach and Atletico de Madrid next week in case coach Zinedine Zidane wants to use him.
