Real Madrid have announced that Isco will not be available when the team face Elche today after he became a father. Isco was initially included in the team’s squad list but is a last-minute absence.

Per Realmadrid.com
Isco is not part of the Real Madrid travelling party for tonight’s LaLiga Matchday 16 encounter against Elche at the Martínez Valero (9:30pm CET). The Málaga-born man was initially named in Zinedine Zidane’s 24-man squad but is a last-minute withdrawal after becoming a father.

Therefore, neither Isco nor Rodrygo —injured— will be available when Los Blancos take on Elche at the Martinez Valero tonight.

This is Isco’s third child. The midfielder is rumored to be on his way out of Real Madrid next summer as he tries to find a more relevant role elsewhere. While it might be Isco’s last season in the club, he could stay make an impact during the second half of the season.
