Real Madrid defenders Sergio Ramos and Alvaro Odriozola trained with the rest of the squad this Friday and appear ready to return to the team’s squad list for Saturday’s tough away match against Sevilla. They could also be joined by Luka Jovic, who completed Thursday’s training session after testing negative for Covid-19.
A return from both Ramos and Odriozola would increase Madrid’s defensive depth by a big stretch. If ready, both of them will likely feature in the starting lineup, considering that Ramos is an undisputed starter and that Odriozola would be the team’s only available pure right-back at the moment.
Real Madrid will publish the official squad list for Saturday’s game later this Friday, so we will have to wait and see if Ramos, Odriozola and Jovic are fit enough to travel with the squad and potentially feature against a quality Sevilla team who will be rested after coach Julen Lopetegui decided to start most of his reserves against Chelsea.
