Real Madrid completed Sunday’s training session early this Sunday and the good news for coach Zinedine Zidane is that defender and captain Sergio Ramos trained with the rest of the squad and will be ready for Wednesday’s decisive Champions League game against Borussia Monchedgladbach.

Ramos was able to complete a portion of Madrid’s training session last Friday, so it seems that he’s in good physical condition after the injury he picked up with Spain during the past FIFA break.

His presence on Real Madrid’s defensive line will be crucial for Los Blancos not only in Wednesday’s game but also when they host Atletico de Madrid the following Saturday.

Defender Alvaro Odriozola will also have more training sessions under his belt and could possibly feature in Real Madrid’s starting lineup until Carvajal comes back from his own injury, although Lucas Vazquez performed well against Sevilla on the right side of Madrid’s defensive line, meaning that Zidane could be reluctant to make a change in that spot.
