Real Madrid have published a medical report about attacker Luka Jovic, who sufferes a groin injury and won’t be available for the next few games.

Following tests carried out today on our player, Luka Jović, by Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with tendonitis in the adductor muscles of his right leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed.

Jovic’s nightmare season continues. The attacker played some relevant minutes during the first few games of the season but he has not made an impact ever since. It looked like he regained some of his confidence during the past FIFA break but Covid and then this injury have relegated him to the end of Madrid’s rotation. Jovic’s career in Madrid has been extremely underwhelming so far.

Mariano won’t be available either, so once again Karim Benzema will be the team’s only pure striker for Wednesday’s match against Gladbach.
