Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid face off in what will be their last meeting of the 2019-2020 Liga season. They could always play again in the Champions League but that seems far from certain.

Zidane's men have the momentum and confidence after beating Atlético in the Spanish Supercup. Atleti have been mediocre all season long but even more so this January, having fell to Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey. For the first time in quite some years, Simeone's future seems on jeopardy.

Real clearly have what it takes to beat Atlético, but Simeone and his men always improve their game when they face Los Blancos, who are ten points ahead in the table. Most of Real Madrid's games against top teams in La Liga will be played at the Bernabeu, so it's time for Zidane and his players to take advantage of their good form and earn the three points while making a statement, proving that they can also beat Atlético in comfortable fashion. Los Blancos can use some more confidence and momentum ahead of the crucial tie against Manchester City in the Champions League and this is the perfect game to do just that.
