The second Derbi Madrileño this weekend will take place on Sunday, 16:00 CET at Estadio Municipal Nuevo Matapiñonera. It will not be streamed.

Tacón lost 0-1 to Logroño last week. It was a messy game and not a good performance from Las Blancas overall. They had questionable defensive sequences and offensively the overdependence on Sofia Jakobsson’s exceptional performances was on display.

The big surprise came with their 4-1 win against Athletic, a very strong side in Primera Iberdrola. Their dynamics have completely changed since the arrival of new signings such as Nigerian player Rita Chikwelu and Brazilian forward Geyse Ferreira.

Injuries/Suspensions

Samara Ortiz is still recovering from her injury, but captain Malena Ortiz should be back to the squad list this week. Lorena and Thaisa are both suspended for this match.

The Madrid CFF squad have a couple of long-term injured players, most notably Mónica Hickmann, Itziar Pinillos and Ale Rosillo.
